Alberto Hernandez

July 20, 1942 — August 10, 2013

Born July 20, 1942, in Robstown, Nueces County, Texas, Alberto was a son of the late Benito and Juanita Riedin Hernandez. He married Micaela Watrin on December 27, 1967 in Alice, Texas. Alberto farmed for Roger Blackwelder and Truitt Strickland and lived most of his life in Fisher County. He was a very good and creative welder and was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Rotan.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carolina.
Alberto is survived by his wife, Micaela of Rotan one son and daughterinlaw, Tony Albert and Vicky Hernandez of Rotan two daughters and sonsinlaw, Rosemary and Charles Higgins of San Angelo, Texas, and Linda Lee and Chris Cortez of Bartlett, Texas five brothers, Daniel Hernandez, Benito Hernandez, Jr., Alex Hernandez, Armando Hernandez and Freddy Hernandez five sisters, Irma Pounds, Dora Cuellar, Mary Ofelia McGinty, Janie Mann, and Odie Hudnall seven grandchildren six greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
