Annie Settle

Annie Josephine Settle passed away January 8, 2023 in Colorado City, Texas. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Rotan Church of Christ with burial to follow in Belvieu Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home, Rotan, Texas.

Annie was born March 22, 1938 in Rotan, Texas to the late O.C. and Nora (Seaton) Ashton. She married Gene Taylor Messick. After his passing she married, Harrell Gordan Settle. Annie was a homemaker and loved sewing, baking, reading, and camping with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; three sons, Mearl Dean, Randel Jo and Harrell Settle Jr.; two sisters; and two brothers.

Annie is survived by one son, Dearl and wife Jo Messick; daughter, Delvie and J.A. Robinson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Dearl and his wife Lillian Ashton.
