Beth was the daughter of the late Carter Alonzo Hale and Geneva Brumfield Hale. Beth graduated from Roby High School with the class of 1957 and attended Draughons Business College. She married George Turner on March 29, 1959 in Roby. Beth worked at Decker Foods in Garland, TX, nine years until she retired in 1992. She moved back to Roby in 1998. Beth loved to shop and work word puzzles. Beth was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, stepfather Forrest Perkins and one brother Fred L. Hale.
Beth is survived by her husband, George Turner of Roby two sons and daughtersinlaw, Lawrence and Kim Turner of Lewisville and Marc and Sharon Turner of Lewisville a daughter, Tonya Challis of Roby four grandchildren, Devon Challis, Dancy Challis, Whitney Turner and Spencer Turner and two greatgranddaughters, Aubrey and Hayden Wallace her mother, Geneva Perkins of Roby and very special friend, Joretta Elliot.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the First United Methodist Church or a favorite charity. .
