Billie Hardin

Billie Ruth Hardin, 90, formerly of Rotan passed away October 14, 2018 in Throckmorton, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will be held in Cottonwood Flat Cemetery. Visitation is set for Wednesday, October 17, 2018, from 12:30pm until 2:00pm.

Billie Ruth was born October 14, 1928 to Nath and Lizzy (Helms) Underwood in Fisher County. She married William B. Hardin on March 3, 1946. They were together until W.B. passed away on November 4, 1993. Billie was a loving grandmother. While still in Rotan, she enjoyed her coffee drinkers each morning. She ran an upholstery shop, and loved to make ceramics; she also enjoyed ranching.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, W. B. Hardin; her parents; five brothers and one sister.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kay Thompson and husband, Ronnie; two grandchildren, Damon Thompson and wife, Kristina, of Katy, Texas and Derrik Thompson and wife, Jill, of Peaster, Texas; six great-grandchildren: Allison Thompson, Kaylie Thompson, Kensie Thompson, Jessa Reed of Peaster, Texas, and Kassidy Thompson and Sadie Thompson of Katy, Texas; and her brother, N.G. Underwood.
