Bonnie Goswick

Bonnie Lou (Parks) Goswick, 91, passed away November 23, 2018, in Jayton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday November 26, 2018, at the Jayton Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Jayton Cemetery in Jayton, TX.
Visitation will be 5 pm - 7 pm, Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Born October 11, 1927, in Scurry County, Bonnie was the daughter of George and Izora (Hodges) Parks. She married the love of her life, Howard Goswick on July 12, 1945, in Snyder. Bonnie worked alongside her husband in the cattle business. Bonnie was a member of the Church of Christ where she taught Bible class for many years. She was a great cook, and loved time spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Wayland Goswick; one daughter, Sheila Karen; two brothers, Martin and Thomas and one sister, Perniece.
She is survived by two grandsons, Roy Chisum and wife, Christy of Jayton, and Ray Chisum and wife, Carla of Jayton; seven great grandchildren, Amber Brightwell, Randi Chisum, Clinton Chisum, Bailey Chisum, Kayla Chisum, Shanna Chisum and Caleb Chisum; seven great great grandchildren, Tate, Luke, Brayden, Cash, Kimber Ivy and Paisley; and one brother, Edwin Parks.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lubbock Children's Home or the White River Youth Camp.
