Calvin Neves

Roby- Calvin Carlton Neves, 84, passed away February 13, 2022, in Rotan.  Visitation will be on Friday, February 18th 2022 at 1pm. Graveside service will be in the Roby Cemetery at 2pm directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Calvin was born in Roby, Texas July 16, 1937 to Ernest & Mary Fay (Cunningham) Neves

Calvin was a lifelong resident of Roby, Texas. He graduated in Roby 1956 and married on January 12, 1959 to his love Juanita Pearl Daniel. He worked 47+ years at National Gypsum where he was known as (Tatorhead) in Rotan Texas. He loved driving his loader at work.

He loved listening to music and watching cooking shows. And enjoyed feeding the birds and taking care of stray cats that came to visit. He never met a stranger and he enjoyed drinking coffee at Wes-T-go with friends and enjoyed taking joy rides around town and to his family farm.

Calvin is preceded in death by his Wife Juanita Pearl (Daniel) Neves, Parents Ernest & Fay Neves.

Brothers, John Talmage, Regineld Guymon, Kenneth Clyde “Bill”, Ralph Curtis Neves

Sisters, Anna Lou Rush, Hazel Ruth & Ina Faye Sutton.

He is survived by three sons & daughter in laws, Stephen Wayne Neves (wife Angela), Kevin Mark Neves (wife Charlene) & Kristian Shane Neves (wife Dixie).

6 Grandchildren, Anita A Neves, Jessica D Archuleta (husband Jeff) Danny W Neves, Stephanie A Schwark (husband Darrell), Brittany B Neves & Kristian C Neves (wife Abrah).

4 Great Granddaughters, Rylie, Hannah & Piper Archuleta, Emersyn Schwark, Areial Schwark, and grand cat Penny Paws Neves.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
