Carolyn was born November 10, 1930 in Bastrop, Texas to Paul C. and Ida Pearl Elliott Bell. She graduated from high school in the Panama Canal Zone and went to Baylor University, where she met the love of her life, Mac Weathersbee, while moving in. Carolyn received her Bachelor of Science degree and taught school in Fort Worth and Rotan. She married Mac at Fort Worth on March 23, 1952 and moved to Rotan when Mac returned from the Korean War in 1956. She worked alongside her husband at Weathersbee Funeral Home. Carolyn was a homemaker, seamstress, organist and pianist for the First Baptist Church, an avid sports fan, gardener and decorator. She loved her entire family and especially enjoyed family gatherings. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband in 2009, parents, five sisters Ruth Townsend, Pauline Strickland, Bea Kimbrough, Dorothy Cadwallader and Esther Emmett, and one brother Paul Bell, Jr.
Carolyn is survived by two sons and daughtersinlaw, Burt and Barbara Weathersbee of Dallas, and Byron and Carla Weathersbee of Salado, Texas a daughter and soninlaw, Dee Ann and Donny Mullins of Rotan six grandchildren and their spouses, Dayme and Marcus Walther, Dane and Lori Mullins, David and Taylor Mullins, Bo Weathersbee, Brittney Weathersbee, and Casey Weathersbee five greatgrandchildren, Cooper Mullins, Jake Mullins, Leighton Mullins, Hayes Mac Mullins and Price Walther two brothersinlaw and one sisterinlaw, Doug and Shirley Weathersbee, and Glenn Emmett and wife Faye and numerous nieces and nephews.
