Charles Gruben

Charles was born April 14, 1945 to Alvin and Vera Ogden Gruben in Rotan. He lived Rotan at Angel Care since 1992. Charles was a very loving person who enjoyed music and playing the piano. He was always to start a tractor or pickup and was especially happy when he was allowed to change gears while going through a pasture or field. Charles accepted Christ as his Savior when he was twelve years old and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Glen Gruben, two brothersinlaw Edgar Jones and T.O. Upshaw and one sisterin law Carol Ann Gruben

Charles is survived by two brothers and sistersinlaw, Bobby and Ellen Gruben, Wilber and Mary Gruben, all of Rotan four sisters and two brothersinlaw, Vera Ellen and Billy Joe McCombs of Rotan, Laverne and Preston Upshaw of Ransom Canyon, Texas., Georgia Upshaw of Rotan, and Melva Dean Jones of Graham, Texas one sisterin law, Billie Brown and her husband Carroll of Rotan numerous nieces and nephews and his Angle Care family.
