Cora Clements

Sylvester- Cora Lou (Gregg) Clements, passed away May 11, 2021.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Sylvester Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Sylvester Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Rotan, Texas.

Born March 28, 1926 in Ranger, on the Butler Ranch, Cora was the daughter of Milligan and Clarice (Bulter) Gregg.   She married William Henry Clements in Oil Center, New Mexico.  Cora retired from the Salvation Army as a bookkeeper.  She enjoyed painting, sewing, and loved to work in the yard tending to her roses.

Cora is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister (Clarice Cunningham).

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Terry Moffett, her son Don and Millie Holmes. Grandchildren are Tammy and Chris Marroquin, Tresa and Mike Beard, Tonya and Kevin Janis, Shanda and Shawn Engelstad, Josh and Tiffany Moffett, Amy Holmes and Sean Holmes. Two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Carolyn Gregg, and Joe and Kathy Gregg; two sisters Janice Bennett, and Judy and husband David Dimmitt, and many Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
