Glen was a son of the late J. Coan Odom and Ada Mae Royalty Odom. Glen went to school in Hobbs, TX and served in the Army during the Korean War. He married Patsy Ann Turnbow on December 9, 1955 in Rotan. Glen was a lifelong resident of Rotan where he owned and operated Odoms Shamrock station. He was a very determined person who liked to have a glass of tea under a shade tree with his friend Soapy Floyd. Glen also enjoyed going to flea markets, estate sales, and garage sales. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Rotan. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy in 2009, a son, Darrell Odom, one brother, C.C. Odom, and three sisters, Mae, Estelle Polk, and Fay Martin.
Glen is survived by his son Donald Odom of Rotan his daughter, Freda Benitez and her husband Kenneth of Rotan three grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary and Savannah Benitez of Rotan one brother, B.B. Odom of Odessa numerous nieces and nephews.
