Donna Martinez

Donna Martinez, 52, of Rotan passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at home surrounded by
family. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, October 27, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, in Rotan.
Donna Robertine Martinez was born in Rotan, on December 7, 1964, to her parents, Cruz
Martinez and Grable Trejo Martinez. She graduated from Rotan High School in 1983. Donna
was the proud mother of Heather, Kristina, Mark (Eric), & her chihuahua, Princess. Her main
priority was always her children. She was employed by Richeson Dairy Queen for 27 years with
12 of those years as being the manager. She gave her all to her job in order to be one of the
best stores around. Donna was a member of Golden Streams Ministry Church in Sweetwater
where she rededicated her life to the Lord. Things she loved the most were her children, family,
friends, Curtis Ward's church sermons, the DQ customers, & shopping. She will be dearly
missed by her loved ones, who can celebrate the fact that now she is in paradise with Jesus.
Donna is preceded in death by her father, Cruz Martinez, brother, Cruz Martinez Jr., nephew,
Michael Martinez, and grandmother, Juanita Trejo.
Donna is survived by her children, Heather Buchanan and husband Kevin, of Rotan, Kristina
Martinez, of Oklahoma City, and Mark Eric Martinez of San Angelo. Grandchildren, Kinzie &
Karlie Buchanan; mother, Grable Martinez of Rotan, sisters, Lydia Torres and husband
Benjamin of Abilene, Rosemary Carreno and husband Ernesto of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Linda
Sosa of Rotan, Vicky Martinez of Rotan, and Yolanda Timmons of Hamlin; brother, Raul
Martinez of Sweetwater, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
