Doris Tidwell

Doris Kelley Tidwell passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025 in the Belvieu Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home of Rotan.

Doris was born in Rotan, Texas on March 7, 1928 to the late Nathan and Gladys (Horton) Kelley. She graduated from Rotan High School. She married Billy Tidwell on May 18, 1945. She lived in Rotan most all her life and was a member of the Rotan Church of Christ. Doris was a homemaker. She loved to travel and to read.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Gladys Kelley, and her husband, Billy Tidwell.

Doris is survived by her two daughters, Kelley May and Jeanie McClure both of Rotan; three grandchildren, Jake Baker of Rotan, Nick May of Rotan, and Shelly Morris of Pflugerville; and one great grandson, Logan Morris of San Antonio.
