Jerry also served on the Board of Trustees for the Butman Methodist Camp and Retreat Center, during which time he attended camp as a counselor. He was a devoted father to his two children, Jerilyn Burkhart (Glenn) of Abilene and Mark Marshall (Jennifer) of Albany, and a proud grandfather to his three grandsons, Donovan Kading, Jack Marshall, and Luke Marshall. Jerry was a lifelong sports fan who enjoyed watching football along with track and field.
