Emilia Martinez

Emilia was a daughter of the late Herchulano and Augustina Garcia Sanchez. Emilia moved to Rotan when she married her husband Amado Martinez in Rotan in 1950. She was a homemaker, devoted mother and grandmother. She loved being outside tending to her rose bushes and gardening. Emilia was a member of the Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Victoria Martinez , a son Ruben Martinez and two sisters.
Emilia is survived by six sons and daughtersinlaw, Juan and Stella Martinez of Sweetwater, Amado , Jr. and Dora Martinez of Rice, TX, Joe and Cissie Martinez of Abilene, George and Diana Martinez of Sweetwater, Ricky and Jane Martinez of Abilene, and Robert and Trina Martinez of Sweetwater four daughters and three sonsinlaw, Ramona Martinez of Sweetwater, Rosa and Jesse Martinez of Sweetwater, Mary and Jerry Salazar of Ballinger, and Christina Vera of Sweetwater numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and greatgreat grandchildren and eight brothers and sisters. .
