Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Roby Methodist Church with burial at Roby Cemetery. ation will be 4:00 5:00 p.m. Sunday at WeathersbeeRay Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roby Methodist Church.

Tince was born December 17, 1916 to Sarah Louella Strong and Benjamin Franklin Kiker at Green39s Creek Community near Dublin, Texas. He married Wanda Mae Holcomb on October 12, 1940 at Reno, Nevada. Two years later, while he and Wanda were living in California, Tince was drafted into the Army during WWII as a combat engineer and was involved in the invasion of Normandy on DDay. After serving his country, he moved back to California where they lived until 1948, at which time they moved to Fisher County. He worked for National Gypsum for thirtyfour years as the quothead mechanicquot and was known to be a quotselfmade engineerquot. He could build or fix anything. Tince loved to work and after retiring he began farming and ranching. He was a loving husband and was very dedicated to his family. He always enjoyed fishing with the children in his family and dancing with Wanda. Tince was a member of the Roby Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers Dewey, Bruz, Jack, Buster and John Kiker and one sister Tennie Mae Crow.

Tince is survived by the sunshine of his life and wife of seventyone years, Wanda Kiker of Roby two sons and a daughterinlaw, Donnie and Teresa Kiker of Anson and Dennis Kiker of Roby two grandchildren, Matt and his wife Danielle Kiker and Will Kiker three greatgrandchildren, Brycen, Rankin and Kutter Kiker three brothers and their wives, Bennie Wayne and Mildred Kiker of Odessa, Corky Kiker of Mineral Wells and Jimmie and Susan Kiker of Snyder a sister, Bernice Price of Arkansas a sisterinlaw, Valene Kiker and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tince was a hero to his family, friends and country.
