Jacqueline Ann (Bishop) Terry age 83, of Roby, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023. Visitation will be at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Wednesday, May 10 from 6-7 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 11, at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church in Roby with Pastor Brandon Carreon officiating. Burial will follow in Roby Cemetery.
Jackie was born December 11, 1939, in Dallas, Texas to Jack and Lillie Belle (Steward) Bishop. She grew up in Dallas and moved to Roby in the early fifties. She met the love of her life Allan Eugene Terry, and they married May 12, 1956. Jackie enjoyed painting, doll making, sewing, and quilting. She was a member to the American Young Homemakers and helped with 4-H for several years.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lillie Bishop, and husband, Allan Eugene Terry.
She is survived by two daughters, Genia Arnwine (Allan), Cheryl Callan (Randy), and one son Tony Terry (Kathy) all of Roby. ten grandkids Carissa Adkins (Todd) of Jarrell, Sandy Mayes (Matthew) of Coleman, Kayla Graves (Zane) of Lubbock, Chad Arnwine (Vanessa) of Snyder, James Arnwine (Shella) of Sweetwater, Chelsey McCall (Mark) of Rotan, Cameron Callan (Jaci) of Rotan, Tyson Terry (Paige) of Rotan, Cecille Faglie (Neal) of Roby, Logan Spurgeon (Marcus) of Roby, and twenty-three great grandchildren. and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the First Baptist Church of Roby, the Roby Cemetery Association, the Roby Livestock Boosters, or West Texas Rehab.
