James Carrillo

James Carrillo, 42, passed away February 4, 2017. A funeral mass will be held 9:30 am, Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Rosary will be Friday, February 17, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Rotan.
James was born in Hamlin. He was the son of Felipe and Louise (Alvarado) Carrillo. He graduated from Rotan High School. James was a kind and caring person. He loved helping people and was very active in the community and church. He enjoyed playing softball with his nieces, nephews, and friends every year to help raise money for the annual Rotan fire work show. James was a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
James is preceded in death by his parents, two nieces (Stephanie Carrillo and Ashley Fuentes) and one brother-in-law (Sammy Daniel).
Survivors include three brothers Felix Carrillo (Monica), David Carrillo (Anita) and Bobby Carrillo; eight sisters, Syliva Torres (Richard), Adela Guzman (Johnny), JoAnn Carrillo, Pat Grady (Michael), Kathy Daniel, Lori Reyes (Rey), Melissa Smith, and Janice Brown (Stephen); and many nieces and nephews.
