Jim Williamson

June 26, 1950 — November 16, 2019

Jim Tom Williamson, 69, of Belton, Texas went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2019 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas.  His wife and children had been at his bedside in the days before he passed.

He was born to the late Mark and Juanita Williamson in Callan Hospital in Rotan, Texas, June 26, 1950.

Jim graduated from Snyder High School and was drafted and served in the Vietnam War.  After returning home, he met and married Patricia (Roberts) Williamson on December 22, 1973.  Together, they raised three children.

He was a devoted husband, a generous and loving dad, and will be deeply missed. He was an avid fox hunter, and enjoyed running hounds and listening to a good race.

Jim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Williamson; two daughters and their spouses: Kerri and Brian Pridemore of Belton, TX; Holly and Alan Box of Kempner, TX; and his son Steven Williamson of Genoa, AR; one sister Martha Roberts of Genoa, AR; one brother James Wendall Williamson of Texarkana, AR; ten grandchildren: Andrew, Victoria, Sarah, and Katie Pridemore, Connor Williamson, Cody Willborn, Ryan Box, Mason, Emily, and Dylan Williamson; and one great-granddaughter Amelia Neal.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn Ray Williamson and Robert Mark Williamson.

A graveside service will be held at Hobbs Cemetery in Fisher County, Texas on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a contribution to the church of your choice.
