Jimmy Hale

JIMMY DONALD HALE, 81, passed away Sunday, April 05, 2015, at his home in Rotan. Graveside services were held on Monday, April 6, 2015, at the Dowell Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Born September 19, 1933, in Fisher County, Jimmy was the son of Walter Ervin and Bessie Lee (Henderson) Hale. He was a graduate of Rotan High School and Texas Tech University, and served as a Fighter Pilot and Instructor in the United States Air Force. Jimmy married Sherry Lynn Bynum on June 4, 1987, in Midland, Texas. He retired from the United States Air Force Audit Agency, and the couple moved back to Rotan in 1996, where he took up farming. In his spare time, Jimmy enjoyed riding motorcycles, and watching the sunset. He was a faithful member of the Sabbath Keeping Church of God, and enjoyed bible study and biblical research.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Larry Hale.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sherry Hale; four sons, Bradley Hale and wife, Stephanie, Lyle Hale and wife, Debbie, Travis Hale and wife, Lena, and Wesley Hale; one daughter, Lisa Hale; one brother, Darrell Hale and wife, JoAnn; two sisters, Sharon Hale and Carolyn "Pookie" Williamson; and five grandchildren.
