John Gentry

ROTAN JOHN ARTHUR GENTRY, 62, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014, at his home in Rotan. The family will hold a private ceremony at a later date.
Born August 9, 1952, in Roby, Texas, John was the son of Doris and Blanch Nunn Gentry. He married Retha Myrl Sissom, and worked at numerous jobs in the course of his career.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Blanch Gentry, and his son, John Arthur Gentry, Jr.
John is survived by his loving wife, Retha Gentry of Rotan two sons, Nicholas Gentry of Hondo and Jonathan Gentry of Levelland four brothers, Otis Gentry of Palm Springs, CA, Jesse James Gentry of Rotan, Jackie Roy Gentry Joyce Ann of Midland, and Jerry Gentry of Snyder seven sisters, Ola Faye Gentry Blandford of Houston, Doris Helen Gentry of Houston, Willie Mae Williams Robert of Houston, Virginia Johnson of Albuquerque, NM, Leola Gentry of Sweetwater, Blanch Gentry of Sweetwater, and Ann Hickman of Sweetwater two grandsons one granddaughter brotherinlaw Willie Sissom and numerous nieces and nephews.
