Juan Torres Flores

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Juan T. Flores on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. There will be a family visitation from 5:00 pm to 7: 00 pm Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home in Rotan. The funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, June 10, 2024 in the Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Belvieu Cemetery.

Juan was born March 12, 1957 in Leander, Texas to Elena and Julian Flores Sr. In his early years Juan was a truck driver and a mechanic in his free time. He then began farming.  He farmed for many, many years. Juan would often be found enjoying the West Texas breeze under a shade tree with a cup of coffee. He loved spending time with his family and his fur babies, Spotty-Joe and Bella.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; one brother; and wife Susie Flores. 

Juan was survived by three daughters, Rebecca Hudnall and husband Lance, Stephanie Flores and husband Stephan Dillard, and Delores Flores and husband James Flores; one son, John Flores; four granddaughters; one grandson; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; three sisters; on brother; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was an exceptional hard-working man, devoted husband, and incredible grandpa. Juan was loved and respected by many. His family recalls him as being the heart of their family, “their rock”, and the life of the party, He will be greatly missed.
