June Wallace

June was a daughter of the late William Clark and Elsie Mae Teel Brazee. June moved to Rotan at the age of fifteen from Arizona. She married John Frank Wallace on July 10, 1946 in Rotan. She worked for H.L. Davis, was manager for Hinds Department store and the bookkeeper for the Rotan Gin. June was a great cook, loved to quilt and was an excellent seamstress. She also liked to fish and hunt. June moved to Cleburne in 1991. She was a member of the Highland Home Baptist Church until it closed and joined the First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband on June 11, 2012, two grandchildren, Sharlene and Jerry Clark Deen, one brother Dan Brazee, and two sisters, Stella Carter and Maude Pennington.

June is survived by four daughters and sonsinlaw, Linda and Jerry Deen of Rotan, Lura and Oran Payne of Cleburne, Brenda and James Goodwin of Abilene and Barbara and Joe Barnard of Knox City six grandchildren, Jaime Nelson and husband Tim, Chris Nelson and wife Heather, Rusty Goodwin and wife Keri, Melissa Ellison and husband Matthew, Kaleb Goodwin and wife Jenny and Brackston Barnard eleven greatgrandchildren one brother and sisterinlaw, Owen and Viola Brazee two sistersinlaw, Jean Adams and Letha Neiert and husband Robert.
