Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1981, Larry Don and Linda Kay (Hoodenpyle) Callan welcomed a beautiful baby girl. She made many friends while attending Rotan ISD, graduated and furthered her education at Abilene Christian University receiving her bachelor's degree and was pursuing a masters. Lacy shared her knowledge of math teaching for Abilene ISD. She continued to grow in her field taking in and absorbing what her fellow peers and students in return had to offer.
Lacy made many friends with her contagious smile and witty sense of humor. Her zest for life was spending time with her daughters especially outdoors making any animal they came upon the family pet. When they weren't outside, they were busy crafting inside.
Lacy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Memaw Ruth Callan, PawPaw Jerry Hoodenpyle, Grandpa Cullen and Grandma Alline Terry.
She is survived by her sweet baby girls,Kayden and Karlee Gilbreath and Kolby, ; her parents, Larry and Linda Callan; grandparents, Johnnie Hoodenpyle, Maurice and Glynetta Callan; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to a college fund that has been established for Lacy's daughters at the First National Bank of Rotan.
