Louise Williams

HOBBS- LOUISE (WOODS) WILLIAMS, 89, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at her home in Hobbs. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at the Rotan Church of Christ, with burial following at the Hobbs Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Born February 22, 1926, in Bryan County, Oklahoma, Louise was the daughter of Elmer William and Alma Leta (Perkins) Woods. She was raised by her sister, Melba, after her mother died when she was nine months old. She graduated from Hobbs High School, and married the love of her life, Andrew Williams, on September 30, 1945. A devoted homemaker, she loved having a beautiful home, and was an excellent housekeeper, decorator, and cook. She was a lifelong resident of Rotan, and a member of the Rotan Church of Christ. Above all, Louise loved her family, and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Andrew Williams; an infant child; two brothers, Eugene "Hap" Woods and Jack Woods; and her sister, Melba Hartley.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Williams and wife, Peggy, of Hobbs, and Randy Williams and wife, Barbara, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Colter Williams of Rotan, Clinton Williams and wife, Leia, of Rotan, parents of Taylor, Leighton, and Cal, Nathan Williams and wife Hanna of Senatobia, Mississippi, parents of Charlotte Kate, Aaron Williams of Maryville, Tennessee, Andrea Burt and husband, Josh, of Herriman, Utah, parents of Macie, Westin, and Brady, Lauren Andrews of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Kelley Andrews of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Greg Andrews of Provo, Utah.
