Luis Romero

Rotan- Luis Romero, 64, passed away March 20, 2018, in Lubbock. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Belvieu cemetery, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Rosary will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel.
Born June 30, 1953, in Roby, Luis was the son of the late Jesus and Cecilia (Gonzalez) Romero. He married Angelita Ramon November 21, 1980, in Roby. Luis worked at Rotan ISD as an custodian. He was a member of the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.
Luis is preceded in death by his wife and numerous brothers and sister.
Luis is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Luis and Camille Romero; one daughter and son-in-law, Katrina and Thomas Watson; five sisters, Francis Zambrano, Susan Almanza, Julia Lewis, Delores Garza, and Maria Machuca; five grandchildren, Ethan Romero, Gracie Sartain, Kylie Sartain, Thomas Watson, Jr., and Ava Watson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
