Mary Garcia

Mary Lou Garcia, 85, of Rotan, went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of May 19, 2018, in Rotan.  The funeral mass is scheduled for 11 am, Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, in Rotan.  Burial will follow in Belvieu Cemetery.  Visitation and rosary services will be held from 6pm until 8pm, Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Mary Lou Pardon was born February 11, 1933, to Crystal and Susie Pardon, in Jayton, TX.  She married Henry Garcia on August 24, 1946. Mary Lou and Henry raised five children in Rotan; Delores Carrillo, Augie Garcia, Chico Garcia, Henry Jr. Garcia, and Susie Cogburn. Mary Lou and Henry were then blessed with multiple grandchildren. Delores blessed them with Jason James Carrillo; Augie, with Micheal, Malissa and Michelle Garcia; Chico, with Felicia, Chrissy, Chris, Chea, Chase, Amber, Ryan, Bianca and Hannah; Henry Jr., with Ben Alaniz, Rose Yanez, Nichole McArthur and Krisha Garcia; Susie with Jacobi Cogburn and Stevie Daneil.
Mary Lou was a devoted member of the St. Joseph Catholic church where she raised her children and grandchildren.
Mary is greeted in death by her husband, Henry Garcia; her mother and father; Crystal and Susie Pardon; her son, Augie Garcia;  brothers; Richard Pardon, Crystal Pardon Jr.; sister, Nely Pardon;  granddaughter, Felicia Garcia Flores; son-in-law, Scotty Cogburn; and numerous friends, family and dancing partners.
Mary Lou is survived by her children; Delores, Chico, Henry Jr. and Susie; her grandchildren; her great grandchildren; Noah, Hayden and Halen, Tripp Daniel, Xavier, Kiya and GiGi, Draven, Layla and Rhiannon, Brooklyn and Meliane, just to name a few; her sisters; Anita, Irene, Ester and Annette; her brother; Nick Padron.
