Maxne Warshaw

ROBY MAXINE T. WARSHAW, 88, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015, in Sweetwater, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Roby, with burial following at the Roby Cemetery, directed by WeathersbeeRay Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 3:004:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at WeathersbeeRay Funeral Home.
Born June 2, 1926, in Sweetwater, Texas, Maxine was the daughter of Thomas S. and Edna Armstrong Terry. She graduated from Roby High School in 1943, and married Jesse G., Warshaw on March 14, 1944, in Roby. Her life can be summed up in three words: faith, family, and friends. Mazine was a wonderful wife and mother, and a caregiver to everyone she met. She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Roby. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and working with flowers.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jesse G. Warshaw her parents, Thomas and Edna Terry and her brother, Wayne Warshaw.
Maxine is survived by her son, Chester L. Warshaw of Roby her daughter, Betty Dove of Roby one brother, Billy Ray Terry of Snyder three sisters, Evelyn Reeves of Sweetwater, Inalee Gunnels of Palestine, and Irene Ludlum Don of Sweetwater four grandchildren, Angela Denise Fretwell, Jason Lynn Warshaw, Shelly Borgstedre, and Chet Dove three greatgrandchildren, Micayla Fretwell, Jayden Fretwell, and Mason D. Dove and numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
