Michael Hardin

Michael Blaine Hardin, 56, passed away April 23, 2023. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Cottonwood Flat Cemetery in Rough Creek. Services are under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Michael, the youngest son of Jimmy and JoVetta Hardin was born September 29, 1966.  He grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas where he loved the great outdoors.  He graduated from Mary Carroll High School and worked diligently in the gas plants in Nueces County and surrounding areas. After a major stroke, he was no longer able to care for himself and his oldest sister Evona became his primary caregiver. However, his care would not have been possible without the help of his sister, Teressa and her family, and his brothers Jim Wayne and Lester.  Michaels final years were spent at Central Texas Nursing and Rehab in Ballinger Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Teressa Ford; sister-in-law Teesha Hardin, and sister-in-law Candy Hardin; and brother-in-law Bernard Adickes.

Michael is survived by three daughters, Samantha Jo and Ben Cass of Beeville Texas, Misty and Beau Farmer of Cuero, Texas, and Kassie and Lindsey Hardin of Brownwood, Texas; three grandsons Kaleb Lopez, Greyson and Karson Farmer; sister Evona Adickes of Paint Rock, Texas; brothers Jimmy Wayne of Odessa, Texas and, Lester Hardin of Rotan Texas; and brother-in-law Randy Ford of Rotan, Texas. He had a great extended family that he loved and cherished beyond words.
