Norma Torres

Norma Sue Torres, 59, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2020, in Belvieu Cemetery. Rosary will be on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Rotan.

Born October 23, 1960 in Rotan, Texas, Norma was the daughter of late Teodoro G. Ramirez and Dolores (Lopez) Ramirez.

Norma attended and graduated from Rotan High School. She was a home care manager at Angel Care for 29 years. In her spare time, she could always be seen working in her yard planting flowers, in the kitchen cooking for her family and loving on her grandsons that called her “Ama”. She will be remembered as a strong, hardworking and loving woman. She was a light to all that knew her and was always helping those in need.

Norma is preceded in death by her father Teodoro G. Ramirez.

Norma is survived by her mother; one brother, Ted Ramirez; two sisters, Elaine Yanez and Georgette Dewbre, one son, Jeremy Torres; two daughters, Tamara Alldredge (Danny) and Lanie Salinas (Adam); three grandsons, Danny, Dayton and Ian.
