Patsy "Pat" Ann Allen

Patsy Ann “Pat” Allen passed away Monday, November 18, 2024. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Rotan, Texas with burial to follow in Roby Cemetery. There will be a visitation prior to the service on Friday starting at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. 

Pat Allen was born July 28, 1939 in Scurry County, Texas to the late Bob and Della Johnson. She grew up on the Pyron Ranch in Scurry County and graduated from Hermleigh High School in 1957. Pat married Vernon Ray “Cotton” Allen on August 9, 1958. They resided in Roby, Texas. She retired from Big County electric Cooperative in Roby. 

Pat was a loving wife, mother, wonderful MeMe, and a devoted friend. She was kind and caring to everyone she met. She was truly a Proverbs 31 woman who loved the Lord.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Cotton Allen.

She is survived by her son, Robert Allen; daughter, LaTricia Wood (Trey); grandchildren, Ashlyn, Caleb, and Kaitlyn Wood.

The family would like to thank the Fisher County Hospital nurses, EMT’s, Keven Kelly, and Hendrick Hospice for their wonderful care during this time.
