Wayne Nichols, 52, of Rotan, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 in Rotan. Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Friday, February 22, 2019 at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Belvieu Cemetery.
Richard Wayne Nichols was born July 9, 1966 in Hamlin, Texas to Harold Loyd Nichols and Kathleen Elrod Bennett.
Wayne was preceded in death by his grandparents; a nephew, Blake Nichols; uncles, James Allen, Jim Bilbo, and A.L. Elrod and Aunt, Erline Elrod.
Wayne is survived by his father, Loyd Nichols; mother, Kathleen Bennett; sons, J.C. Nichols and Joseph Tamez; brothers, Dean Nichols and Ray Nichols; nieces, Codi Haigood, Kourtney Baker, Haley Wright, Jessica Sporles and Sarah Sporles; and numerous cousins.
