Born June 29, 1958, in Rotan, Texas, Rudy was the son of Gonzalo and Clemencia Reyes. He graduated from Wauconda High School in Wauconda, Illinois, and moved to Abilene, where he lived for over thirty years, working as a waste management technician. In his spare time, he loved working on cars.
Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, Gonzalo and Clemencia Reyes, and his sister, Mary Aviles.
He is survived by his sisters, Lucy Bernhardt of St. Louis, Missouri, Elveta Trejo of Waco, Carolina Reyes of Crystal Lake, Illinois, and Virginia Reyes of Cary, Illinois and numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
