Sally Pace

Rotan- Sally Leona Pace, 79, passed away on October 2, 2019, in Snyder.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 4, 2019, at Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. October 3, 2019.

Born September 4, 1940, in Rotan, Texas, Sally was the daughter of the late Barnie and Jimmie (Fancher) Horton. She married Don Parks and together they raised three children. In 1992 Sally married Horace Pace.  Sally was an avid reader, enjoyed working in the yard, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Don Leslie Parks in 1987 and Horace Pace in 2012; and her son, Reggie Parks in 2015.

Sally is survived by one son, Jimmy Parks; one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Gerald Claxton; one step-son, Wendell Pace (Jan); one daughter-in-law, Teresa Parks; one brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Wanda Horton; one sister, Joan Burch; three grandchildren, Ryan Claxton, Shane Parks, and Allie Claxton; one step-grandson, Casey Johnson (Alison); three great-grandchildren, Aedyn, Trey, and Quinn Claxton; four step great-grandchildren, Lasey, Caeden, Holden and Haley; and nieces and nephews.
