Wichita Falls – Sharon Elaine Hale, 76, of Wichita Falls passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 following a brief illness.
The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6pm to 7pm Friday May 14th at
Weathersbee Ray Funeral Home in Rotan. Funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, May 15th at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel with Matt DesAutels officiating. Interment will follow at the Hale family plot at Belview Cemetery.
Sharon was born on October 14, 1944, in Rotan the fourth of five children to Walter Ervin and Bessie Lee Henderson Hale. She attended Rotan schools from the 1st through 12th grade. While in High School she was involved in many organizations including the National Honor Society, band and was band drum major her Sophomore, Junior and Senior years.
Sharon was employed and retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety in Wichita Falls as secretary to the Lieutenant. She was a member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed genealogy, crocheting and western dancing.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brothers Jimmy Donald, and Larry.
Sharon is survived by two sons Brian Terry of Wichita Falls, and Marlon Terry and wife Laura of Georgetown, Texas and two grandchildren Haley Terry and Grayson Terry, brother Darrell Hale and wife Jo Ann of Iowa Park, Texas and sister Carolyn (Pooky) Williamson of Iowa Park, Texas and many nephews and nieces.
