Shirley Beyer

Shirley Janelle Beyer was born November 13, 1942 to Ella Faye Feagan and Roy Eaton in Rotan, Texas, Fisher County.  She passed away on January 5, 2021.  Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Shirley married John Beyer on December 22, 1961.  After graduating high school, she went to Cosmetology School in Abilene, Texas.  She then became a fulltime housewife and mom.  After raising her own, she kept close friends’ children and was deemed their honorary grandparent.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; and brother, Roy Alan Eaton.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Jerolyn Beyer of Abilene; daughter and son-in-law, Mechelle and Tom Stevens of Cypress; granddaughter, Mckenzie Stevens of Cypress; sisters, Pat Waldon of LaGange, Texas and Gina Kincaid of Abilene, Texas; honorary grandchildren, Jaren Thornhill, Sara Garza, and Regan Lindsey; many friends and several nieces and nephews.
