Steven Wright

Steven Murray Wright, 51 passed away at home with his family on August 5, 2020 in Abilene.  Graveside service will be Saturday August 8 at Hobbs Cemetery, 368 Rd FM 611 Hobbs, Tx 79546.  Visitation will be Saturday August 8, 9:00AM at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Rotan Tx.

Murray was born March 1, 1969 in Heidelberg, Germany. He married the love of his life Julie McPike on September 5, 2000. Murray worked in the healthcare industry at Hendrick Medical Center and loved helping others. He was a caring and loving man. He loved to make everyone laugh and when you were in his presence you could

feel his uplifting spirit. That dimple and beautiful smile he had you could not resist.  He loved spending time with his family, riding dirt bikes was his passion, he enjoyed playing board games, fishing, mudding and going to drag races.

Survivors include: Wife; Julie Wright, Two sons; Richard Wright Sr and Michael Guzman and his wife Brittany. Parents; Richard and Stepmother Linda Wright of Rotan, Ginger Lauren and Stepfather Bruce Adams of Burkett. One Sister; Misti Moses and her husband Gregory. One Step Sister: Brittany Lowe and her husband Guy

Of Burnet. Two Step Brothers: Eddie Baugh and his wife Karen of Sweetwater, Jeromie Baugh and his wife Shelly of Clyde. Three Grandkids: Richard Wright Jr, Briar Guzman and Emberlynn Guzman. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
