ROTAN THEDA BELL BROWN JONES, 89, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Fisher County Hospital. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at WeathersbeeRay Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Belvieu Cemetery. ation will be 5:00 6:00 p.m. Thursday at WeathersbeeRay Funeral Home. Theda was a daughter of Robert and Maggie Brown. She was born on March 2, 1923 in Peaster, Texas. Theda worked for Leonard Brothers in Fort Worth before moving to Rotan in 1977 where she worked at Allsups until she retired. She loved to play the organ and harmonica. Theda spent lots of time crocheting Afghans and painting ceramics. She usually had her cats beside her while she did any of the things she enjoyed. Theda was a member of the Church of Christ in Rotan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Patsy Burks, one greatgrandchild Nathan Burks, six sisters, and two brothers.
Theda is survived by two daughters and one soninlaw, Sandra McClain of Rotan, Nancy and Jack Willis of Stellar, North Carolina one sisterinlaw Odell Jones seven grandchildren fourteen greatgrandchildren and four greatgreatgrandchildren. .
