Tomas Flores

Hamlin-Tomas Flores, 59, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, in Hamlin.  Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Rotan.

Born January 15, 1962, in Stamford, Tomas was the son of the late Perfecto R. and Cruz (Ramos) Flores.  He worked as a plumber and painter before retiring.  Tomas was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his mother.  He was always willing to jump in and do “honey doos” and the only payment was a good hamburger and great conversation.  Tomas was a faithful Catholic and a man of God.

Thomas is survived by his Mother, Cruz, from Rotan; son, Tomas Flores, Jr., from Mineral Wells, Tx; six granddaughters; Fiancé Nora Rodriguez, from Hamlin; Brothers, Juan Flores, from Hamlin and Jessie Florez and wife Sherry, from Hamlin; Sisters, Francis Flores, from Rotan; Margaret Lopez & husband Armando, from Ropesville, Tx, and Daniella Garcia & husband Paul, from Lubbock.
