Vicky Freeman

Vicky Lynn (Freeman) Hernandez, 45 of Rotan passed away January 13, 2019. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Rotan. Burial will follow in Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the funeral home.

Vicky was a lifelong resident of Rotan. Born November 26, 1973, in Rotan Texas. She was the daughter of Harrell Freeman and Gaylon Freeman. She married Tony Hernandez on January 14, 1994. They had two beautiful daughters and Vicky loved being a mother and wife. She was also, a wonderful aunt to her great nieces and nephews. Vicky never passed up an opportunity to spoil her family. She loved coloring, playing computer games, playing board games, and reading.

Vicky is preceded in death by her grandparents, Hubert and Elsie Daniel; her grandfather, Harold Freeman; one aunt, Barbra Gray; and her father-in-law, Alberto Hernandez.

Survivors include her husband, Tony Albert Hernandez of Rotan; two daughters, Cheyenne Nicole Hernandez and Jade Elizabeth Hernandez; her father and mother, Harold Freeman and Gaylon Freeman; mother-in-law, Michela Hernandez; and numerous other family and friends.
