Born June 15, 1923 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Victor was the son of Tranguilino and Vicenta Garcia Torres Rangel, In 1947 he moved to Rotan, Texas where he worked as a farmerCowboy, on June 17, 1950 he married the love of his life soul mate of 64 years Tecla Flores. They moved to a farm near Hamlin Texas in 1955 where they raised goats, chicken, pigs, and cows. Victor was the groundskeeper for the Sacred Heart Church and El Ranchito Cemetery from 1975 to 2012. He was a hardworking, honest man and a good provider who loved playing the harmonica, listening to music, watching western movies, and being outdoors. Victor lived his life by his own personal values that cherished every moment he spent with his family and friends, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle who always put his family first and never allowed him to fight.
Victor is preceded in death by his parent, Tranguiloino and Vicenta Rangel and one daughter, Gloria R. Mendoza.
He is survived by his wife, Tecla Rangel one son, Tomaz Rangel and wife Amelia of Dumas four daughters, Mary Ramirez and husband, Raymond, of Brownwood, Isabell DelHierro and husband, David, of Abilene, Angela Heaton and husband, Wesley, of Hamlin, and Carmen Gardner and husband, Roy one soninlaw, Jesse Mendoza, of Hamlin four brothers, Mileton Rangel, Sabas Rangel, Polo Rangel, and Panch Rangel, all of Mexico two sisters, Pilar Yanez and Piska Rangel, both of Mexico eighteen grandchildren twenty greatgrandchildren one greatgreatgrandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
