Wanda Maxine Clark Haines
Wanda Maxine Clark Haines, of Lubbock, passed away on February 2, 2015, at the age of 82. She was born on November 10th, 1933, in Royston, to Claud and Irene Gruben Clark. She attended school in Rotan and received her LVN certification at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo. Her nursing career began in Sonora and she later worked as a lab and xray technician at Teague Hospital in El Paso. Maxine was appointed Utilization Review Coordinator at Ruidoso Hospital, in Ruidoso, New Mexico and also manager of Nursing Services in Midland. She also held the position of office building manager in Midland and an apartment manager in El Paso. Maxine married Charles Haines in 1957.
She is survived by her son, Frank SoRelle, III and wife Beverly, and daughter, Gina Haines McCowin and husband Stanley, all of Lubbock. Survivors include two granddaughters, Emily SoRelle, of Lubbock, Sarah SoRelle Wright of Cypress and two great grandchildren, Garret Lee Wright and Grace Elizabeth Wright of Cypress. She is survived by sisterinlaw, Mae Clark, of Rotan, niece Connie Clark Bray and nephews Monty Clark, Kelvin Clark, and David Clark. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents Claud and Irene Clark and brother, Kenneth Clark.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, February 5th , at 11:00, at Roby Cemetery under the direction of WeathersbeeRay Funeral Home in Rotan.
