Red was a son of the late Edwin P. and Catherine Terry Neves. Red graduated from Hobbs High School and attended Howard College in Big Spring. Red lived in Hobbs, Houston, Rotan and finally in Big Spring. He worked as an inside salesman for different industrial companies. Red loved nature and camping at Big Bend. He liked to sketch and was an excellent wood carver and enjoyed reading westerns. He also loved to joke and tease. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Tommy Jack and Edwin Charles Neves.
Red is survived by two brothers and a sisterinlaw, Roy H. Neves of Snyder and Earl L. Pud Neves and his wife Myra four sisters and three brothersinlaw, Mary Ola Johnson of Amarillo, Clara Ann and Kelly Jennings of Russellville, AR., Roaslie and Ray Harrison of Austin and Bonnie and Bobby Powell of Ackerly and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. .
