Woodrow was a son of the late Johnny and Ola May Johnston Murdoch. Woodrow married Ruby Conner in Haskell County, TX on October 1, 1943. He farmed and worked as a custodian for Jayton High School until he retired. Woodrow lived in Jayton until 1977 and moved to Hamlin. He married Dora Robbie Johns in Miland on August 6, 1988. Woodrow later moved to De Leon, Commanche, Hitchcock, TX and Point Blank in 2003 to live with his daughter Sharon and her husband. He liked playing guitar and reading his bible. Woodrow was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, both wives, his brother John T. Murdoch and his sister Lorene Lee.
Woodrow is survived by his two daughters and sonsinlaw, Kay Lajuan and Bobby Cardwell of San Leon, TX and Sharon and David Krohn of Point Blank, TX seven grandchildren, Tonia Baker, Melanie Turner, Rechelle Garcia, Shareen Creekmore, Charity Baker, Vanessa Gonzalez and Stephen Hobson nineteen greatgrandchildren and seventeen greatgreat grandchildren two nieces and three nephews.
